Our History

The present church of St Margaret & All Saints dates from 1876 when the building was constructed under the direction of Father Browne, the Parish Priest of the time. The style of the church is 12th Century French Transitional Gothic.

St Margaret’s Convent Chapel in Bethell Avenue was built in 1931 by the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary and was consecrated by Bishop Arthur Doubleday on 30th May, 1931.

St Margaret’s Parish Centre is open from 9.30am to 1.30pm every day from Monday to Friday.

The Parish Office is open from 9.30am to 1.30pm every day from Monday to Friday.
If there is something that you wish to discuss with Father Dan then he is available from 6pm to 8pm every Monday evening in St Margaret’s Parish Centre.
